The songs on Sing of Noel capture the meaning of
Christmas - a time to celebrate and rejoice the beauty of
the Earth, a time to reflect, and a time to give. The CD is
dedicated to American veterans and active-duty members,
who have proudly served our nation, and to their family
and friends who love and support them. In this spirit, a
portion of the proceeds from Sing of Noel will benefit
disabled veterans.

The title track on Sing of Noel was originally written in 1984
by Joseph M. Dague, a former Marine, Korean War Veteran
and Purple Heart recipient. This song is a reflection on the
despair that loomed over his mother during the time he was
a prisoner of war, and on the hope for peace that his
freedom inspired. In 2006, Joseph, together with his
daughter Nova, rewrote “Sing of Noel” for Bella Sorella.
